The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 12 South, and Ellesmere E residents, hosted the 6th

Annual “Take a Veteran Fishing Day” last month.


Participants enjoyed extraordinary weather and fishing, a barbeque, and fellowship. Over 35

veterans and guests attended the annual event which was organized by Bill

Montgomery, Cambridge A and Greg. Kucharewski, Ellesmere E.


The fishing program helps Veteran men and women take time to heal by teaching them skills and introducing them to activities that can reduce PTSD symptoms.
