The Russian Matryoshka Club recently brought residents together for an evening celebrating Russian culture at Century Village East. This recipe caught my attention because as a child and still today, the combination of orange and creamy vanilla makes my mouth water. You know… orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream? Yes. These cookies will definitely bring your tastebuds back to that delicious frozen treat known as the Creamsicle. Residents at Century Village East continue to strike the right note each month during the popular “Name That Tune” game night at the Clubhouse. Held on the first Monday of every month, the event combines music, friendly competition and social interaction as residents test their knowledge of classic songs from the 1960s and beyond.
