Raymond Philip DePerro of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2023 at the age of 82. Ray was born on March 7, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ray was a cherished longtime friend of Century Village East, and especially CVE Master Management staff. As a construction contractor, Ray devoted countless hours to maintaining and repairing the roadways and other infrastructure inside the Village. A beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, successful business owner and friend to many over his lifetime. Ray loved to socialize, golf, play cards and in general just loved being around his friends and family. Ray was very handy and creative with all types of renovation projects. There is nothing he couldn't fix. He was very intuitive and direct with his feelings. You never had to guess what he was thinking, but you had to listen very closely when he spoke. Raymond was predeceased by his parents Frank and Rose DePerro and siblings Frank, Joan McQuillan, and Bob. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his partner, Grace Jackson, his daughters, Darra and Danielle with son-in-law Steven Jennings. He loved being Pup Pup to his granddaughters Jayden and Jordyn Jennings. In addition, he will be missed by a multitude of nieces, nephews, family members and many friends he loved and touched deeply.
