Barry Cowen, Deerfield Computer Club
Â
Â
Deerfield Beach Computer Club provides a special forum for people with tech-related needs and questions. Our meetings feature a variety of trending computer and technology topics for Apple and Android users presented by high quality member-instructors as well as nationally known guest speakers.
Â
Our members typically have one or more devices such as phones, tablets, laptops and computers, using Apple products, Chromebooks and PCs. We share and learn from each other and do a lot of show and tell.
Â
In our recent meetings we gave long-term members and first timers a golden opportunity to pose questions to our experts who gave advice on Windows, AI, Apple and Android devices, smart online and offline shopping, Cybersecurity, and more.
Â
Future programs will address a mix of topics for users with all kinds of devices, designed for participants with various knowledge levels. We cover and review events such as last month’s CES (Computer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas.
Â
You are welcome to join us to explore these ideas and others. We will continue to meet at 10:00a.m. on one Friday each month, currently on Zoom, but possibly going live soon. To learn more about us, please visit our secure, highly informative and entertaining Club site at https://www.db-cc.net. For more information on how to join our Club, contact our Membership Director and CVE resident, Pete Zambito, at 954-941-4870.
