BARRY COWEN
The Deerfield Beach Computer Club provides a special forum for people with tech-related needs and questions.
This month we learned the new features of the new iPhone and iPad updates, including no longer needing to say “Hey” to get Siri’s attention. If you want to check out the presentation, you can see it (and all our other ones) from our website, https://www.db-cc.net/ Click on the YouTube icon in the top right corner to access it. The presentation also talks about which features will work on older phones as well as some that might also have android equivalents. It was a very rich presentation, filled with lots of good questions and sharing.
Future programs will address a mix of topics for users with all kinds of devices, designed for participants with various knowledge levels. We might address things like: how to get set up with new devices, when should you upgrade or replace what you’ve got, how to deal with a mix of devices and get them to integrate or work with each other, if you’re getting a tablet, what do you need to consider, how do you find and organize your files and make room when you run out of storage, tips for texting and much more.
We meet at 10:00am on one Friday each month, currently on Zoom, but possibly going live soon. To learn more about us, please visit our secure, highly informative and entertaining Club site at https://www.db-cc.net.
