Tech Tips, Tricks, and Thanksgiving: November Zoom Meeting with the Geeks on Tour!

The Deerfield Beach Computer Club is excited to announce our November Zoom meeting, where Jim and Chris Guld, internationally renowned as the "Geeks on Tour," will present their popular mix of tips, tricks, and lively Q&A. This dynamic duo is sure to offer insights and practical advice on a wide variety of technology topics, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned tech enthusiast or just looking to improve your tech skills, this session is one you won’t want to miss.
The Club continues to hold monthly Zoom meetings, offering opportunities for participants to get answers to their technology questions from our high-quality in-house and guest speakers. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, as we continue to meet the needs of those using a range of Apple and Android devices, including phones, tablets, laptops, computers, and Chromebooks. We’re also planning future sessions on Basic Windows 10 and 11 to ensure no participant is left behind.
In October, Bob Gostischa, a nationally recognized expert from APCUG, gave an informative presentation on Cybersecurity, discussing online threats such as phishing, ransomware, spyware, and DDoS attacks. His detailed talk, followed by an engaging Q&A, provided participants with practical steps to protect themselves online.
Looking ahead, we have more exciting topics lined up for all kinds of device users, catering to varying knowledge levels. Our goal is to promote growth and learning through active participation and the sharing of knowledge. In YOUR Club, everyone is encouraged to learn and contribute, and no one is left behind!
