Temple B'nai Shalom’s membership continues to grow as it provides a stimulating Jewish experience catering to the non-orthodox Jewish community in Century Village East as well as the surrounding areas. B’nai Shalom provides a welcoming environment that encourages participation in many social and religious activities. It provides something for everyone.
The fall season began with an array of events After the High Holidays, which were held jointly with Temple Beth Israel at the Activity Center, B’Nai Shalom had both Sukkot and Simchat Torah Services last month. Cantor Gary Sherman leads Shabbat Services every Friday night at 8 p.m. at the LeClub and on Zoom, followed by a tasty oneg.
Planning is underway for the social outings in the coming months. On the Agenda is the show “9 to 5” at FAU this month followed by a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater in December.
B’nai Shalom doesn’t stop there. There is a monthly Munch and Learn with Cantor Sherman leading us in a discussion on subjects such as “What is Happening in Israel?” Bagels, cream cheese, and nosh are provided as well as a chance to schmooze with fellow congregants and attendees. In addition, a Trivia Night is being planned.
