Annual luncheon for those spinning their wheels

On March 15, the CVE Cyclopaths had their closing luncheon at the shuffleboard shelter.

The Cyclopaths, who have been at CVE for about 16 years, are a large and “young at heart” group of friends who ride their bikes, have a casual picnic, and enjoy each other’s company.

They ride every Friday around the local parks and trails. At this year’s luncheon, to everyone’s pleasant surprise, the group’s founders and leaders Danny & Larraine Rosenthal were able to join the group at the last minute.

As is tradition, Danny’s birthday and that of another member, Victor Bloom, was joyously celebrated with lots of sweets and a group photo. The shelter was overflowing with happy friends congratulating each other for a pleasant and safe season. They bid farewell until meeting again on future cycling trails.
