The Stage Is Set for a Spectacular Season at CVE

The curtain is about to rise on another season of entertainment at Century Village East, and CenClub’s newly released 2026-27 show schedule promises nearly five months of music, comedy and live performances offering something for almost every taste.

Beginning in November and continuing through March, the season will bring dozens of performances to the CVE stage, ranging from celebrations of legendary rock, pop and Motown performers to Broadway favorites, comedy, country music, orchestral performances, magic and more.

The season gets underway Nov. 15 with “Sistas of the ’70s,” celebrating some of the great female voices of the decade, including the music of Carole King, Bonnie Raitt, Carly Simon, Janis Joplin and Dionne Warwick. One week later, “Motown N’ More,” featuring The Old SkoolGang, brings the sounds of Motown and classic soul to the stage.

Classic rock fans get their first big night Nov. 29 when Forever Eric pays tribute to Eric Clapton, including music from his solo career and his years with Cream, The Yardbirds, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominos.

December offers an eclectic lineup. Leslie McDonnell celebrates Janis Joplin and other women of rock Dec. 13, followed by the Broward Pops Orchestra Winter Concert Dec. 20. Chris Ruggiero brings the music of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s to CVE Dec. 27 with “Teenage Dreams & Magic Moments.”

CVE will ring in 2027 with two New Year’s Eve events. Jayne Curry presents “Diva Fever,” a high-energy celebration of iconic female performers, followed later that evening by CenClub’sNew Year’s Eve Party in the Party Room.

January brings one of the busiest stretches of the season. “Viva Brazil!” opens the month Jan. 3, followed Jan. 6 by “The Rocket Man Show,” starring Scotsman Rus Anderson in a tribute to Elton John. Country music takes over Jan. 10 with Lane Braden & The Classic Country Jamboree.

Eagles Revival celebrates the music of the Eagles on Jan. 17, while Uptown follows Jan. 20 with a contemporary take on Motown and soul. Other January offerings include “To Life,” a celebration of Jewish Broadway and Hollywood; JZ Magic Live!; “So Cher,” starring Rachel Hawnt; and world-renowned chazzan Nissim Saal.

January concludes with The Bronx Wanderers on Jan. 31. The new show direct from Las Vegas spans decades of popular music, with songs associated with artists ranging from Dion and Frankie Valli to Billy Joel and Bruno Mars.

One of February’s most notable performers arrives Feb. 7 when Tony and Grammy Award winner John Lloyd Young takes the CVE stage. Young originated the role of Frankie Valli in Broadway’s “Jersey Boys” and starred in the Clint Eastwood-directed film adaptation. His “Mostly Soul” show features music from Broadway, Motown and other favorites.

February also includes Solid Brass, featuring the sounds of classic horn bands; a Valentine’s Day dance; a jazz journey “From The Duke to Diana”; and Comedy Night with Jimmy Shubert and Cory Kahaney.

On Feb. 21, the Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra presents “Fiddler on the Roof! A Sing Along,” inviting the audience to join in familiar songs from the Broadway classic. “Viva Pavarotti” follows Feb. 24 with a celebration of the legendary tenor, while the Honky Tonk Chicks close out the month with country favorites.

March provides a strong finish to the season. Lou Gazzara presents “My Way,” a tribute to the songbook of Paul Anka, on March 3, followed the next night by WANTED, a Bon Jovi tribute.

Comedy returns March 7 with “Too Italian To Be Quiet!” featuring Tammy Pescatelli and Adam Ferrara. “Black Tie Optional” celebrates Michael Bublé on March 10, while “Decades in Duet” takes audiences through six decades of popular music on March 14.

Classic rock returns March 17 with Bad Moon Rising, a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute. The Prime Time Music Orchestra performs March 21, followed by Jason Webb & The Caribbean Chillers with their Jimmy Buffett tribute March 24.

The season closes March 31 with True Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute featuring favorites including “Dreams,” “The Chain” and “Go Your Own Way.”

From Motown, Broadway and comedy to the music of Elton John, the Eagles, Cher, Bon Jovi, Jimmy Buffett and Fleetwood Mac, the new lineup gives CVE residents plenty of reasons to spend a night at the theater without ever leaving the Village.

CenClub advises that performances generally run between 75 and 90 minutes and that the schedule is subject to change. Updated performance information and tickets are available through CenClub.
