Century Village East residents now have the opportunity to step forward and help shape the future of the community. Applications are being accepted for several open seats on three key governing boards: the CenClub Board of Directors, the CVE Master Management Board of Directors, and COOCVE. Elections will take place in early January.
Both the CenClub and CVE Master Management boards have three open seats each. These positions carry three-year terms, giving elected directors a lasting role in community leadership. On COOCVE, all seven officer positions are up for election. Depending on the position, terms run either one or two years.
Any unit owner is eligible to run for office. Interested candidates must complete an application form and provide brief biographical information. Forms can be picked up at the CVE Master Management office, the COOCVE office, or the clubhouse. They are also available for download from COOCVE’s website, and a copy will be printed in the newspaper for easy completion.
The deadline to submit applications is Thursday, November 6, at 3:00 p.m. Completed forms and background information must be received by that time. Applications can also be emailed CVEelections@COOCVE.com but emailed submissions must arrive before the deadline.
Serving on these boards is more than a volunteer role—it is a chance to be directly involved in decisions that impact the lives of more than 16,000 residents. Together, the CVE Master Management board and the CenClub board oversee approximately $30 million in funding, guiding policies, maintenance, amenities, events, and overall community direction.
Residents who choose to run will not only have a voice in shaping the future of Century Village East but will also take on an important responsibility: ensuring the community remains strong, well-managed, and prepared for the years ahead.
