Cyclopaths honor a friend

For many years the Cyclopaths have been enjoying a weekly Friday morning bike ride in one of the parks of Broward or Palm Beach Counties.  These excursions were the brainchild of Danny Rosenthal who had the idea to gather friends who love biking. He sent out weekly notices of where the group would gather and updates on whether rain would cancel our outing or if it would be a “Go”.

Our dear friend, Danny, died suddenly here in Florida this past December. We were shocked and heartbroken at his passing. But we vowed to continue to gather to ride each Friday morning. (Some of us have now chosen to be part of The Walkers group.) At the end we all meet to have a picnic and a photo.

In Danny’s memory we are now called, “Danny’s Cyclopaths”. Danny, we know your spirit’swatching over us and keeping us on the path. Ride on, Danny’s Cyclopaths!
