Game, Set, Match: Everything You Need to Know About the CVE Tennis Club
In last month’s article, we discussed the various team and tournament tennis playing options offered by the CVE Tennis Club, the many social events and functions planned for this season, and the club’s organization. This month, we’ll explore how to access information about the club and make the most of the numerous tennis amenities available at Century Village—namely, the CVE Tennis Club website at www.cvetennis.com.
On the website, you’ll find tabs and quick links for joining the club and managing your membership; information about the Board of Directors, including their roles and assignments; schedules for team and social group play; data on club members, such as their team affiliations; team membership information; and an event calendar, which provides a comprehensive list of all meetings, social gatherings, and tournament dates.
Additionally, there’s a Billboard section that features the latest news on all club activities and events, including messages from the Board of Directors, details on upcoming events and meetings, health and exercise tips and talks, special events, volunteer opportunities, equipment and apparel sales, and other tennis-related information.
The club’s leadership team includes President Didi Lacroix, Vice President Vicki Dosso, Treasurer Frank O’Mara, Secretary Alain Levesque, and directors Simon Lapointe, Peter Silbermann, and Mel Weinzimer.
For those interested, CenClub’s Tennis Pro, Ron Perry, will continue to hold morning clinics on weekdays at the Clubhouse courts. These clinics cater to all levels of play. For more information on clinics or to schedule private lessons, you can visit the club’s website, pick up a tennis clinic schedule at the Clubhouse Staff Office, or contact Ron directly at rmperry16@gmail.com.
To all CVE residents interested in playing tennis, the CVE Tennis Club welcomes players of all levels and abilities, offering plenty of opportunities to socialize, make friends, and have fun. To become a member or request more information, contact Didi Lacroix at didifit@gmail.com or complete the online membership form at www.cvetennis.com.
