CVE Master Management has announced a new upgrade to the community’s security gates as part of the ongoing construction project at the main entrance. The current 10-foot gate arms at all entrances will be replaced with longer 12-foot arms, effectively closing a gap that previously allowed smaller vehicles or pedestrians to bypass the gates.
In addition to the added length, the new gate arms will be breakaway-style. Unlike the existing gates, which can snap off their stanchions when struck by a vehicle and require repair, the new arms will swing back upon impact. Security guards will then be able to reset the gates quickly and easily without the need for outside service.
The improvements are expected not only to strengthen overall access control at Century Village East but also to save both time and money by reducing repair costs and keeping gates functional without interruption. The 12-foot breakaway arms will be installed at the main gate, the east gate, and the west gate.
