Total CVE Org Coupons Costs Push Past $300

Residents of Century Village East will see increases to both their recreation and CVE Master Management coupons beginning January 1, 2026, as each governing organization approved new budgets citing inflation and rising operating costs as the primary reasons. When added together, the two fees are now over $300 for the first time.
CenClub, which oversees the community’s recreation facilities, announced that its monthly coupon will rise ten dollars to $120 per month. During the board’s meeting, members described the increase as necessary to offset what they called a “steady spiral” of inflationary expenses. In announcing the adjustment, CenClub claimed that its coupon “is still the lowest of the three paid by residents — by far” when compared to the monthly assessments charged by CVE Master Management and the individual associations.
CenClub also pointed to what it called the broad benefits that its investment in amenities brings to the community. “The amenities that CenClub builds, maintains, and modernizes in this community contribute in a significant way to the continuing stabilization and growth in the village.”
CVE Master Management, which handles the community’s infrastructure, transportation, security, and utilities, also approved an increase for 2026. The CVE Master Management coupon will increase by $13 to $185. The organization says the adjustment was unavoidable due to surging costs for essential services that “are completely outside” its control.
The management company explained that nearly every dollar collected goes directly to paying for vital operations — including cable television, water, sewer, trash, and electricity — all of which have experienced sharp price hikes.
Both CenClub and CVE Master Management expressed appreciation for residents’ understanding as they navigate higher costs while working to maintain the comfort and safety, and uphold property values.
The coupons for CenClub and CVE Master Management represent two of the three significant monthly costs paid by residents. The third is generated by individual buildings. The amount of monthly building fees varies from building to building.
