Twelve Players Compete in CVE Stickball Annual Power Showcase

The CVE Stickball team held its annual stickball hitting contest on January 31 following a nine-inning game, with 12 players stepping up to compete. Scoring was based on performance at the plate, with one point awarded for a single, two points for a double, three points for a triple, and four points for a home run.

The winners, pictured from left to right, were Joe Jr. in third place, Kalvin in second place, and Jim on the right taking first place honors. Other participants in the contest included Joe Sr., Joe Gard, Mac, Shelia, Jose, Mike, Tony, Brian, and Larry.

Jerusalem Day Observance Planned at Century Village

Century Village East will host a Jerusalem Day observance on Thursday, May 14, with a program reflecting on the historical and religious significance of the city.
