Last month, we posed a critical question to the community: does the village's current election system—established over 50 years ago—still serve the needs of today’s residents, or is it time for a change? Your responses poured in, reflecting a range of opinions. Some residents expressed frustration with the current system, citing a lack of representation and engagement, while others defended the director-based approach as an efficient and manageable way to govern such a large community.
