The Young Israel of Deerfield Beach (YIDB) recently held its much-anticipated annual gala luncheon, celebrating the dedication and contributions of its esteemed members. This year’shonorees included Ron and Jodi Eckman, Nathan and Tami Braun, Mutti and Rachel Eisenberger and City of Deerfield Beach Mayor Todd Drosky.- individuals who have played vital roles in the life of the congregation.
Synagogue President Lou Safren praised the honorees, stating "In their own ways, each of them has established themselves as examples of true leadership and devotion to our organization".Their unwavering commitment to YIDB has helped sustain and grow the synagogues vibrant community.
A treasured institution in Century Village East ,the Young Israel of Deerfield Beach has long been a gathering place for prayers, education, and social connections. Located just outside the CVE gates, the synagogue offers a range of activities including weekday and Shabbat services,classes, lectures, films, and social events that cater to a wide range of interests.
For those who have yet to participate in Jewish religious and communal activities, YIDB extends a warm welcome. The synagogue under the religious leadership of Rabbi Yisroel Edelman provides assistance with prayers, Hebrew reading, and general religious guidance to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and welcome.
