A Jerusalem Day Celebration in Century Village

On May 26th over 300 Century Village residents gathered in the Party Room to celebrate the reunification of the City of Jerusalem. This reunification in 1967 allowed all religions access to all religious sites in the City.
Eli Okun acted as Master of Ceremony. Ambassador Mike Huckabee (video), Rep. Jarid Moskowitz (video), Mayor Todd Drosky, Comm. Daniel Shinetzky, and Chief Adam Hofstein all wished a Happy Jerusalem Day.
We sang songs with Hazzan Benny Guttman. We heard Psalms for the hostages still held in Gaza, and words of wisdom from Rabbi Yisroel Edelman and Rabbi Yossi Goldblatt. A video, ‘Six Days of Miracles’ which talked about all of the miracles during the 6 Day War was shown. Music was provided by Howard Stein. It was a good event that was enjoyed by all.
