CVE Hosts Immunization Event

Century Village East (CVE) residents will have the opportunity to receive a variety of important immunizations during a special event on October 10, co-sponsored by CVE Master Management, Walmart, and Unimed Healthcare. Pharmacists from Walmart in Coconut Creek will be on-site at the Le Club Theater from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to administer vaccines for the flu, COVID-19, shingles, RSV, pneumonia, and other essential immunizations. The October date is the second date of the event. The first day was in September.

The event aims to provide convenient access to critical vaccines for CVE residents, especially as flu season approaches and COVID-19 variants continue to circulate. With a range of vaccines being offered, residents can take this opportunity to safeguard themselves against multiple illnesses in one visit.

Most of the immunizations will be covered by insurance, meaning they will be available at no cost to the majority of participants. To ensure everyone is accommodated, residents are required to preregister several days in advance by visiting CVEvaccinations.com. This allows the pharmacists to prepare adequately for the number of attendees and the vaccines required.

During the pandemic, CVE Master Management arranged for COVID shots to be offered inside the village.
