Hoops and Hut: CenClub Enhancements Aim to Elevate the Poolside Experience

Two new amenities are on the drawing board at CenClub. Executive Director Mike Burdman has released details of two approved CenClub projects which will expand the resort feel of our community and provide added comfort to users of the Clubhouse pool.

A regulation size half-court basketball court will be constructed near the racquetball wall. Spectators will have benches and tables from which to enjoy the action. Participants either may bring their own basketball, or equipment will be available in the Staff Office. Dawn to dusk operation will ensure maximum availability time.

The Fitness Center will host events (foul shooting, horse, etc.) to complement the open play expected to be enthusiastically embraced by residents excited to recreate their schoolyard exploits. Subject to appropriate guidelines, residents will be able to organize 3-man teams and league competition.

A tiki hut will be placed on the east side of the Clubhouse pool near bocce. It is expected to accommodate 6 to 8 tables, each with 4 seats and will provide substantially more shade to pool deck patrons. It will be available to users on a first come, first served basis. It will not be reservable space for private gatherings. This structure will distinctively add another level of serenity and delight to our wonderfully modernized pool.
