A meeting will be held later this month to explain condominium accreditation and why it is becoming increasingly important for Century Village condo owners. The CIAC Forum will take place on February 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse GP-G, located at 3500 West Drive.
As Century Village continues to shift toward a buyers’ market, realtors are increasingly showing prospective buyers condominiums located in accredited association buildings. Condos in accredited buildings are also commanding the highest prices.
Accreditation means that a condominium association complies with Florida’s Chapter 718 condominium statute, follows its own governing documents, and administers its operations in a responsible and economically sound manner. Accreditation is granted by CIAC, a joint committee of Master Management, CenClub, and COOCVE, upon approval of an application submitted by an association’s board of directors.
The forum will explain what accreditation is, why it matters, the advantages it provides to owners, and the steps a condominium board must take to become accredited.
