New Sidewalks Improve Safety in Century Village East
CVE Master Management has completed the construction of new sidewalks along Lyndhurst Drive and Cambridge Circle of Century Village East as part of its summer capital improvement projects. These sidewalks enhance pedestrian safety for residents walking to and from both Lyndhurst pools, who previously had to walk in the street.
“Sidewalks are crucial for improving safety in residential areas, particularly in senior communities like Century Village East. They provide a dedicated space for walking, reducing the risk of accidents involving pedestrians and vehicles,” said Val Smikle, Executive Director of CVE Master Management.
For many residents, having safe walkways is essential for their daily routines, allowing them to exercise or travel around the neighborhood without concern.
Master Management has announced plans to continue these safety improvements by installing additional sidewalks in the Newport area of the village, further expanding walkable areas for residents. The ongoing commitment to safety and accessibility reflects efforts to create a more secure environment for all who live in the community.
