Senior Services Signup Event Scheduled April 22 at Clubhouse

Century Village East residents will have the opportunity to connect with a range of senior services during a special signup event scheduled for April 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Main Party Room at the clubhouse.

The event, organized by Deerfield Beach Commissioner Daniel Shanetzky, will feature representatives from the Broward Agency for the Aging, who will be on site to assist residents with enrolling in a variety of available programs.

Services being offered include free homebound meals, LYFT transportation programs, caregiver support assistance, energy assistance programs, legal aid, and signups for robotic pets.

In addition, representatives connected with VA medical and mental health services will be present to provide information and assistance. The Broward Property Appraiser’s Office will also attend, offering residents the opportunity to sign up for home deed protection and the senior citizen exemption program.

Residents are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the resources available during the event.

Jerusalem Day Observance Planned at Century Village

Century Village East will host a Jerusalem Day observance on Thursday, May 14, with a program reflecting on the historical and religious significance of the city. The event will take place at 2:45 p.m. in the Clubhouse Party Room, with doors opening at 2:15 p.m. The program will include videos, music, remarks from rabbis, and greetings from invited guests, followed by refreshments.
