Art Club preps for Art Expo in March

The Art Club of CVE has enjoyed wonderful meetings since the start of our 2025–2026 season.

In December, we featured artist Adeline Wiener and also participated in the first-ever CenClub Club Crawl.

In January, we featured artist Miriam Moses, along with guest artist Roseann Huddleston, a member of the CVE Quilting Club.

Our February meetings will be held on Friday mornings, February 13, 20, and 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room GP-A at the Clubhouse. Members and guests are always welcome to engage with our vibrant artistic community.

Visit our Art Gallery, located to the right of the Clubhouse Theatre. Our February artist is Johnny Elwood, and our March artists will be Nelson Mercado and Sandor Derrick. We thank artist Maxine Bloom for her beautiful January show.

Our Art Book Club is in full swing. Our January selection was My Name Is Asher Lev by Chaim Potok, and the February book will be The Lady in Gold by Anne Marie O’Connor. Please check our website for details.

We are very busy preparing for our annual ART EXPO 2026, which will take place on Friday, March 6, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday, March 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse Party Room. Our Art Expo raises money for art scholarships for Deerfield Beach High School students. Residents and guests are invited free of charge to this annual spectacular event.

Guest clubs joining us include the CVE Photography Club, Lapidary Club, CVE Quilting Club, Lighthouse Glass Club, and the Woodcraft and DIY Club.
