The CVE Choraleers has been practicing hard for its upcoming concert on Monday, March 9th. Set for 7:15 pm, in the Clubhouse Party Room, the group’s performance will be preceded for the second year by a Silent Auction at 6 pm.
“We have successfully launched our 52nd year in the Village and many new members havejoined,” reports Carolyn Woszczyna and Barbara Adler, co-presidents of the group. “To those who love to sing, it can be a truly rewarding experience.”
This year’s concert theme is “One World,” with the full choir and soloists presenting a new array of songs and instrumentals with the theme of bringing people together.
As a not-for-profit, the Silent Action is the Choraleer’s primary fundraising effort, and helps to pay the group’s professional conductor and pianist. Many items and services are again beingdonated, including jewelry, art work, memorabilia, craft lessons, spa sessions and dinners. To donate to the Silent Auction call Tina at 310-990-6762.
Auction winners will be announced at the end of the concert, followed by refreshments.
Entry fee at the door is $10 which includes the Silent Auction, concert and refreshments.
