As summer approaches, we decided after our April class to take a break to allow everyone a chance to recharge their mental and physical batteries. We will explore the possibility of continuing virtual classes as well as returning to live classes in the not too distant future. Keep up to speed by practicing what you have learned. The annual village elections for leadership positions on the boards of CVE Master Management, CenClub, and COOCVE are set for this month, with the first formal step in the process scheduled for early January. The long-awaited completion and opening of the main gate at Century Village East took place on December 19th, marking a major milestone for the community. The first two people to pass through the newly opened gate were Doris Goldman, wife of the late Gene Goldman, a longtime member of the CVE Master Management Board, and Eli Okun, President of the Board of Directors of CVE Master Management.
An incident involving two dogs and a firearm at Century Village East resulted in one dog being shot and a resident being injured by a ricochet, but investigators say no criminal charges will be filed at this time.
