CVE Republican Club Hosts Membership Drive and Barbecue

The Republican Club of Century Village East held its annual membership drive on Monday, September 15, at the shuffleboard courts, drawing 85 residents for an evening of fellowship, food, and local politics.

The event featured a free barbecue and raffle, and organizers reported 10 new members joining the club. Among those attending were Broward County Executive Committee Chair Chris Marino and District 3 Commissioner Daniel Shanetzky.

The club’s next meeting will take place on Monday, October 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Le Club, featuring guest speaker Charles Whatley, Republican candidate for Broward County Sheriff.
