Discover Your Craft: CVE Woodcraft Club December Activities
The CVE Woodcraft Club is gearing up for an exciting winter season, starting with Winter Session #1, which begins on December 30th.
Registration for this session runs from November 29th to December 23rd, and you can sign up either online at the CVE CenClub website or in person at the Staff Office. With popular classes like pen making, bowl making, and a Beginner Woodworking Class for newcomers, spots fill up quickly—so register early!
The club offers a hands-on opportunity to learn woodworking skills, whether you’re a novice or a seasoned woodworker. Classes, part of CVE’s Lifelong Learning Program, are designed to teach students how to craft functional and beautiful pieces from various types of wood, from the dark elegance of walnut to the light charm of pine.
Located on the first floor of the CVE Clubhouse near the billiards room, the fully equipped woodshop is open for members’ use on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while classes take place on Tuesday and Thursday. The full schedule for each session is posted outside the woodshop entrance.
The Woodcraft Club also participates in the Annual CVE Art Show, showcasing the beautiful creations of its members. Whether you’re looking to learn a new skill or refine your woodworking expertise, the CVE Woodcraft Club is the perfect place to explore your creativity.
