Full Steam Ahead: Canadian Club Explores Miniature Marvels at South Florida Railway Museum

Members of the Canadian Club recently took a nostalgic yet high-tech journey through railway history at the South Florida Railway Museum. The group was treated to an up-close look at a meticulously crafted miniature train network—one that is light-years ahead of the classic model trains of yesteryear.
Unlike the simple sets many remember from childhood, this sprawling, fully electronic system boasts intricate details and advanced technology. Club members even had the chance to take control, operating some of the tiny locomotives under the guidance of the museum’s friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
With whistles blowing and tracks humming, the visit was a delightful experience, proving that the magic of trains isn’t just for kids—it’s for the young at heart, too.
