Geeks On Tour Kick Off Tech-Savvy Season for Seniors

Barry Cowan

In January, Jim and Chris Guld, nationally renowned guest speakers known as The Geeks OnTour, gave an outstanding presentation to open our 2025 season. They demonstrated how to take excellent pictures with a smartphone, create custom maps with Google MyMaps, force quit and reboot phones, introduced NotebookLM AI, showed how to find photos by location using Google Photos, and expertly answered attendees’ questions.

Our meetings feature a variety of trending computer and technology topics for Apple and Android users, presented by high-quality member-instructors as well as nationally known guest speakers. Most of our members own one or more devices, including Apple or Android phones, tablets, laptops, Chromebooks, Windows PCs, and more. We make learning fun by sharing knowledge, doing show-and-tell demonstrations, and engaging participants with the latest technologies available to the public.

The Deerfield Beach Computer Club is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to helping seniors with tech-related needs and questions. Donations to the Club are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE. We meet at 10:00 AM on one Friday each month, currently on Zoom, with plans to return to in-person meetings soon. All classes are FREE, and we are proud to be the only computer and technology club serving Deerfield Beach and the surrounding communities.
