Former Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer will discuss his vision for South Florida during a meeting of the Century Village East Republican Club on Monday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Le Club Activity Center, 3501 West Drive.
Singer, who recently announced his candidacy for Florida’s 23rd Congressional District, served eight years as mayor of Boca Raton. During his time in office, he focused on public safety, education and economic development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
The CVE Republican Club said its monthly meetings are designed to keep residents informed about political issues and candidates that impact senior citizens and the broader Deerfield Beach community.
“Our primary goal is to inform and educate,” said Tina Klein, president of the Republican Club and a Century Village East resident. “Let’s learn and share information about the political situation. We want to create a social atmosphere where we get to know our neighbors and build friendships. Please join us.”
